Comments : We live in Canberra, and had a hard time finding anyone who knew anything about Maremma's. My partner is blind and we are looking for a large, intelligent dog [he trips over smaller ones]that we can take for long walks andtravel with. In 2010 we plan on doing the "Grey Nomad" thing around Australia and would also ideally like a dog that has a protective nature. I understand your bitch will be having puppies in November so we are very interested. I have described these wonderful animals to my partner, but as I say he is blind and we would need to see if this breed was suitable for him. Ideally he would need to feel the dog. Any help would be much appreciated
