I have been breeding Maremma Sheepdogs for 16 years

in that time I have breed many top winning show dogs and produced
heaps of valuable working dogs and lots of loved pets.

The Maremma Sheepdog is a natural majestic guardian, Maremma Sheepdogs have been used for over 2000 years to prevent attacks on livestock from wolfs and bears.

 Here in Australia Maremma Sheepdogs are used to keep foxes, wild dogs, eagles and Maremma Sheepdogs will even help keep the two-legged predators away from livestock.

Maremmas are used to protect sheep, goats, alpaca, emus, ostriches and the whole family and their pets. 

I first saw the breed on a TV show, I fell in love!

  I thought how wonderful a dog with a job that was beautiful to look at.

So I set about researching the breed, the more I learned the more I knew that this was the breed for me.

I am still learning from this magnificent breed.

But this is not a breed for everyone. They are a very strong willed dog that have been breed for over 2,000 years to think for them self's so training a Maremma is very different from other breeds, but it is possible with patience and understanding.

I have done obedience with "Maude" my first Maremma and there is a Maremma in Australia with an agility tittle.

So if you think a Maremma is for you do as much research as you can.
Please under stand that I hold this breed very close to my heart
and I do the best that I can to ensure that a my pups are placed in suitable homes
so I like to ask lots of questions.
I do welcome enquiry from registered breeders but 
I will not allow my stud dogs go over unregistered bitches.
